Favorite memories from Webster?

I went to Plymouth Jr High School for my Freshman Year . I was only in the high school for my sophomore year. I remember my Driver’s Ed class, and that the teacher made many negative remarks about women drivers. My daughter, Molly had the same instructor for driver’s Ed many years later! I loved the Fellowship Group of the First Congregational Church!

I moved with my family to Bayou Gauche in Des Allemands, LA in the summer of 1972. I attended Hahnville High School, about an hour ride from our home. I made
early admission to college and skipped my senior year of high school. My family moved back to Webster Groves, in the Fall of 1973. My three siblings all resumed school and eventually graduated from WGHS.

I remember my friends, especially Kay Harris and Bunni Shanle. I remember Mrs Roper, Mr Loveless, Mrs McElwee…

Big moment in your life?

Marrying Patrick Stack and having our two daughters are the biggest blessings in my life!
Getting my Master’s Degree, my Registration as a Board Certified Art Therapist,
License as a Clinical Social Worker and Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Washington University are my biggest accomplishments.

I’m proud of the books that I’ve written that were published- ART THERAPY ACTIVITIES by Charles C Thomas in 1981. MY RECOVERY ZONE: AN EXPRESSIVE JOURNAL FOR MYSELF by Charles C Thomas in 1993; THE INTERACT GAME: THERAPEUTIC TOOL FOR GROUPS- self published in 1988.

Travel much?

Many, many trips back East to visit my mom’s family in Vermont and NYC and dad’s family in New Jersey.
My husband is from Boston so we have carried on the trips back East to visit his large family!
Patrick and I went to Canada -Banff to Vancouver to Vancouver Island on our honeymoon in 1986.
In 1988 we went with my 92 year old grandfather to the Southwest-AZ & NM.
We went to England just after Christmas in 1986.
We took our girls to Disneyworld in 1997 and to Vancouver in 1999. We also travelled with them to San Diego and several other places.
Patrick, I and his sister, Mary, went to Spain to visit our daughter, Katie, when she lived in Salamanca 2009.
We went on our first cruise to Alaska in 2019 and another from Boston up the East coast of Maine and into Canada down the St Lawrence River to Montreal in 2022.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

We want to go to Hawaii, Iceland, Italy. Go to Colorado and visit my sister, Robin, and her family. I’d like to see the northern lights, San Antonio, back to the Canadian Rockies, the Caribbean, Ireland and Scotland again!

I would like to travel with our grandchildren and show them some of the wonders that we’ve seen!
