Keith and I knew each other but we weren’t friends in school. Before I drove myself, my dad took me to school. More times than not Keith and Steve Long would be at Elm and Big Bend looking for a ride. My dad, being one of the best, always picked them up. That’s as close as Keith and I got for all those years.
Fast forward decades. We friended on FB and a few messages later we
“ clicked”. We became very close, treasured friends.
Keith called us “ twins in humor”. We laughed almost daily at shared memes and jokes. The ones we didn’t put on FB😉
He listened, gave advice, sought and respected my opinion. . We shared the good and the bad parts of our lives, past and present. Then Keith ended up healing a part of my heart that was broken, as only he could.
Keith loved his family with all that was in him. Was so proud of his sons and grandchildren.
He lived life to the fullest. Brought happiness and joy wherever he went. God gave him a double scoop of all that was good…
I was very blessed to have him in my life. I wanted many more years of friendship, that wasn’t to be…
Keith, I hopelessly miss you . Will see you again.
