I am taking this hard Ken I were very and  good friends. His family moved from south city to Webster Groves his 8th grade year, in my math class ect. We had alot in common with our loud sense of humor. We were football players in the JFL then finally on the same team all the  way through high school. I was shocked to find out he had a serious automobile accident some decades ago,,,,, was thought to be dead but he cheated death. he even began to play golf again i was so happy to see him and Bob Dake playing golf at the 50th reunion. I realize that death is coming amoungst us sooner than I like to think. RIP KEN

I am shocked to hear that Ken passed away. He, my husband Craig, and I were very good friends in high school. We spent a lot of time together. We really enjoyed catching up with him at the reunion–his same goofy humor and comments. Time is more fleeting that we like to believe.

I got to play golf with Ken Oaks and Bobby Drake at the reunion, we were the right side line for the Eagles in 8th grade. Really enjoyed playing with them both, Ken shared his health issues with me in such a positive way. Hit them good in heaven Ken!

Kenny and I were good friends playing a lot of sports together before and after graduation. He was a natural athlete with agility a coordination especially for a big guy. He was born with a sense of humor that should have been on a professional stage somewhere, hope you find that where you went big guy, you were always great fun to be around !

Ken and I still talked once or twice a week. My best friend at Plymouth then after I moved to Dallas he came down and lived a number of years. I will miss talking to him. A great friend for 57 years

I was shocked by Ken’s passing. He was my boyfriend and best friend from sophomore through senior year.   All of my best high school memories included him. In fact, most of my memories from high school included Ken. I was shy and  he was extremely outgoing - always smiling and laughing. Ken brought me out of my shell and introduced me to some of my best friends.  We had so much fun together. He was a very caring person and so much fun to be with.

We were married a year after graduation and we divorced in 1977. We were way too young to be married.  After the divorce, we both worked at Jewish Hospital and I would run into him from time to time, but he moved on from that job, and I hadn’t spoken to him in over 40 years. I wish that I would have seen him at the reunion. It would have been great to share how both our lives turned out. May God bless you, Ken. RIP
